About Bolghatty Palace

In the island of Bolgatty lies Kochi's popular Bolgatty Palace. It is one of the most seasoned existing Dutch castles on the planet. It was worked by the Dutch dealers in the year 1744 and later was broadened and plants were finished around it. This was around then the Governor's castle for the officer of the Dutch Malabar. In the year 1909 it was rented out to the British, thus filling in as the home of the British Governors. It was likewise the seat of the British Resident of Cochin amid the British Raj.
Later on in the year 1947, when India achieved autonomy from the British, the royal residence turned into the state's property and after that later was changed over into a legacy lodging resort. Presently this royal residence has a swimming pool alongside a 9 gap green and an ayurvedic focus.
