About Bikramkhol Cave
Vikramkhol likewise spelled Bikramkhol is an ancient archeological site. It lies in Reserved Forest of Belpahar go, at a separation of 12 km from Belpahar. The place is known for ancient shake craftsmanship and shake engravings dated around 3000 BCE. The Vikramkhol shake protect, where the engravings found, is dated between 3000 BCE to 4000 BCE. Insights about the caverns were first distributed in Indian Antiquary in 1935 by the endeavors of history specialist K.P.Jayaswal.
The engravings were examined in 1955. The extent of the engravings is 37 meters in lengths, 5.65 meters in broadness and 8 meters in height. The engravings are yet to be examined in detail and a few history specialists interface this content to Mohenjedaro script. It is watched that some of engravings are painted and after that cut in the rock. An imitation of the engraving is displayed in State Museum.
