Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary sprawling a region of 240 sq km, this is the biggest of four secured untamed life asylums in Goa. It is situated at a separation of 66 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand and 44 km from Margao Railway Station. It likewise includes the 107 sq km Mollem National Park. The Sanctuary is partitioned into two parts by the National Highway 4A and by the railroad line of Londa to Mormugao.
There are number of attractions for touring, for example, the Dudhsagar waterfalls and the Devil's Canyon. Close to the Sanctuary door the two watch towers alongside the wilderness tracks prompting the Devil's Canyon, hold a bonanza for birdwatchers and one can likewise observe a great deal of wild creatures here. The main fascination of the haven is the King Cobra, which is found here in plenitude.
