About Annapurna Devi Mandir

Annapurna Devi Mandir, also referred to as Annapurna Mata Mandir and Annapurna Mandir, is one of the maximum well-known Hindu temples within the holy metropolis of Varanasi. This temple has first rate non secular importance in Hinduism and is devoted to the goddess Annapurna. Annapurna is the Hindu goddess for nourishment and is a form of the goddess Parvati.
The current Annapurna Mandir became constructed in the 18th century via Maratha Peshwa Bajirao I. Annapurna Devi Mandir changed into built in 1729 AD via Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao. In Hindu mythology, there are two famous beliefs in the back of the foundation of this temple.

Hence, she took the shape of Annapurna with a golden pot and ladle, and donated meals in Varanasi.
