Anjaneri

Anjaneri Fort is located in the area of Trimbak, Maharashtra. The place shares a distance of half an hour to forty-five minutes from Nashik. The place inhabits many historical and mythological significance. According to legends, it is said that the place marks the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Perhaps the place is coined after the name of Lord Hanuman’s mother, Anjani.

The fort lies in the midst of picturesque mountains and covers a delightful sight. The fort is engraved with many Jain cravings which embarks a unique style. The place also attracts many tourists toward the temple of the mother of Hanuman or the temple of Anjani Mata.
