About Ahilyabai Ghat

At the location of an antique website online of Kaivalyagiri Ghat, Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore made it a ‘pucca’ ghat in 1778. She additionally re-built Vishveshwara temple in 1777. Ahilyabai Ghat holds significance because of the reality that it’s the first ghat of Varanasi which were named after someone.
