About Harjavalta
Harjavalta is a town in Finland, placed in Satakunta province. The municipality has 7 027 inhabitants and covers a place of 127, 74 km2, of which 4, 28 km2 are water bodies. Population density is 56.92 inhabitants / km2. Harjavalta became a township in 1968 and a town in 1977. The effective river Kokemaenjoki flows thru Harjavalta that is Finland's fourth largest water frame. A electricity plant completed in 1939 at the border of Nakkila is positioned in the Pirilankoski vicinity of Lamma.
The energy plant expands to the lake metropolis of Kokemaenjoki. Terrain in Harjavalta is by and large flat pine.
