About Pepper Jelly Festival
The Pepper Jelly Festival and Rural Heritage Day, normally known as the Pepper Jelly Festival, is a yearly celebration held the last Saturday in April operating at a profit Belt town of Thomaston, Alabama. The celebration is facilitated at the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, which is situated in the old home financial aspects expanding on the previous Marengo County High School grounds that was upgraded and repurposed by Auburn University's Rural Studio.
The Pepper Jelly Festival is a festival of provincial life and customs in western Alabama. Once in the past named Rural Fun Day, the occasion was renamed in acknowledgment of the novel pepper jam made at the Rural Heritage Center. The celebration highlights music, custom made nourishment, craftsmanship, artworks, amusement, and different exercises that mirror the way of life of a country Southern lifestyle. The celebration is truly the second-biggest held each year in Marengo County, behind Christmas on the River in Demopolis.
