About Selso
Selso is a ancient manor residence positioned near Skibby 14 km 8.7 mi south of Frederikssund on the Danish island of Zealand. The estate changed into first noted in 1288. The manor originated in 1576 and turned into renovated within the Baroque fashion in 1734. The lately restored building is now a museum. First referred to in 1288 when it belonged to the Diocese of Roskilde, the original Selsø become possibly a shielding constructing placed close to Selsø Church, overlooking the lake which turned into then a part of Roskilde Fjord.
