Ross island was the headquarter of the British colony in A & N. On visiting the island, one can understand the reasons why British chose Ross Island as their head quarter. The place gives picturesque views from all around. Ross still has ruins of some of the buildings that were built during British period. Though they have now been engulfed by the roots of huge trees but watching these buildings makes one nostalgic. In early morning, check out from hotel at Port Blair and start for Phoneix Bay Jetty from where, you have to take a ferry ride to Havelock. After checking in at the hotel in Hevelock Islands, you can visit Havelock Beach and thereafter head to Radhanagar Beach. Havelock is a picturesque natural paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches, rich coral reefs and lush green forest. Radhanagar Beach lies on the south coast of Havelock Island. It is about 12 kilometers from the Islands ferry pier. Radhanagar beach is rated as one of the best beaches in Asia by TIME Magazine.

After checking out, you bid good bye to Port Blair and head to the Airport with memories and promise to come back again.
