The Mini Zoo at Haddo, Port Blair was once famous for its crocodile reproducing programs. Consistent with its name, this little zoo dabbed with stately rosewood, padauk and maple trees currently houses monkeys, a salt water crocodile, Malayan box turtle and flying creatures like the Andaman dull snake falcon, white bellied ocean hawk, parrots and the 'close undermined' Nicobar pigeon.
After the opening of the Chidiyatapu Biological Park, a large portion of the creatures, with the exception of these, have been moved there. On ask for, they likewise show documentaries in the connecting hall. A visit to the Mini Zoo need not be on the highest priority on the rundown. The zoo now houses very few animals. A lion's share of the creatures were moved to the Chidiya Tapu Biological Park. Directly, the Mini Zoo houses monkeys, a salt water crocodile, Malayan box turtle and winged creatures like the Andaman dim snake hawk, white bellied ocean falcon, parrots and the Nicobar pigeon.
