Chidiya tapu- Also called the bird island; this island is situated 25 kms away from Port Blair and is thronged by bird watchers from all across the globe. More than 46 varieties of exotic birds can be seen on this island. Along with birds, the island is also known for beaches, corals and butterflies. Ross island- situated 3kms away from Port Blair; the island is famous for being the colonial capital of Britishers’. A visit to this island will take you back into the colonial times.
