Pick up from Hotel and get driven to Mathura via Yamuna expressway. Arrive Mathura around 1000hrs. On the ghats (river banks) of Mathura, there are small temples where you can see bhang (Cannabis) being crushed and mixed in milk. At Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan, as a kind of Prasad the temple priests sprinkle blessed colour and coloured water on the devotees. Travel a short distance from Mathura to see another unique tradition being played at the Dauji Temple known as hurunga. These age-old traditions are a peek into our country's history!. Also legendary are the week long celebrations at Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan. Culminated with the throwing of colors on “Dhulendi”(Main holi celebration day). In the afternoon head to Mathura to see the colorful Holi procession that starts from Vishram Ghat and finishes near Holi Gate. Dwarkadheesh Temple in Mathura is the best place to catch the throwing of colors is. Start the day early (at around 7 a.m) at Vishram Ghat to see priests making bhang. Overnight stay at Mathura/Vrindavan.
Day 2 : Agra
Morning after breakfast, checkout hotel and get driven to Agra to see Taj mahal. After visiting “Taj”, short beak will be given to savour the Holi traditional delicacies, like “Gujiya” (A kind of Pie), “Thandai” (kind of herbal drink used to beat the heat). Day gets ended with a drop back at the Delhi hotel/airport.
