Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra - Gangtok (5500 ft / 1677 metre | 130 km | 5 hours)
In the morning, board your flight to Bagdogra. You will be met upon arrival by a MakeMyTrip representative who will transfer you to a popular local restaurant for lunch (On direct payment basis). Later drive to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 05 Hrs). Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After buffet breakfast, you will be driven to Rumtek Monastery, BanJhakri Water Fall, Do-drul Chorten or Stupa. Just beside Chorten, you will see Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays). Then, visit Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sundays) and lastly, end your tour visiting Flower Show (closed on Sundays). Evening will be free for leisure and activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400 ft | 3780 metres | 43 kilometres in 3 hours one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Further 10 kilometres from Tshangu Lake is the legendary Baba Mandir. Enjoy a comfortable stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Pelling. Located at a distance of 120 kilometres from Gangtok, Pelling is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 metres. Enjoy a comfortable stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 5: Pelling Darjeeling (125 kilometres | 5 hours)
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing to Rimbi Waterfalls and Hydro Project, Kechopari Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts). Later in the afternoon, transfer to Darjeeling (7380 ft | 2250 metres, 125 kms / 5 hours). Upon arrival at Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and spend remaining of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Early morning, visit Tiger Hill before the break of dawn to see the sun rise over Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world (subject to clear wether). On your way back, stop at the Ghoom Monastery, the holiest monastery in Darjeeling and Batasia Loop. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will drive past Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zooogical Park (closed on Thursdays). Later, visit the Tibetan refugee help centre (closed on Sundays). Later, return to your hotel or walk around the streets of the colonial city, Darjeeling. Stay overnight at the hotel.
