About The Memorial Temple of Lord Bao

Lord Bao 999-1062, named Bao Zheng, was a famous officer in the Northern Song Dynasty 960 - 1127. He is very much regarded as a result of his superb identity, reasonable judgments and strict family training. Numerous sanctuaries were worked to recognize his demise. Among them the Memorial Temple of Lord Bao in Hefei is the most acclaimed. It lies in Baohe Park in the southeastern piece of the place where he grew up, Hefei City. Its present appearance is the after effect of reproduction in the Qing Dynasty 1644 - 1911.

Entering the excellent park, strolling through the stone door and along the little way by the lake, you will discover it before you. It is a run of the mill compound with houses around a yard. There is an incense burner given by a pioneer remaining in the yard. The principle royal residence with five corridors is its feature. In the focal point of the royal residence is a tremendous situated statue of Bao Zheng, estimating around nine feet. He is holding a staff in one hand and a pen in the other.

The noble, genuine demeanor all over speaks to his fair and ethical good character. Four guardians remain on two sides of him. Instruments of torment, which are perceived as images of equity are on the left of the statue. A stone picture of Bao Zheng is inlayed in the correct mass of the corridor. In the eastern and western corridors show things identified with him. Toward the east of the corridor is a hexagonal structure with a well in it.
