About Mount Rundle
The Cree name was Waskahigan Watchi or house mountain. The Mount Rundle is a mountain in Canada's Banff National Park neglecting the towns of Banff and Canmore, Alberta. The third pinnacle southeast of Banff is the most astounding at 9,675 feet 2,949 m.
In 1858 John Palliser renamed. the mountain after Reverend Robert Rundle, a Methodist welcomed by the Hudson's Bay Company to do minister work in western Canada in the 1840s. The Rundle Peaks are a piece of the South Banff Ranges, alongside its kin—the Sundance Range, Sulfur Mountain and the Goat Range.
