About Mount Rundle

The Cree name was Waskahigan Watchi or house mountain. The Mount Rundle is a mountain in Canada's Banff National Park neglecting the towns of Banff and Canmore, Alberta. The third pinnacle southeast of Banff is the most astounding at 9,675 feet 2,949 m.

In 1858 John Palliser renamed. the mountain after Reverend Robert Rundle, a Methodist welcomed by the Hudson's Bay Company to do minister work in western Canada in the 1840s. The Rundle Peaks are a piece of the South Banff Ranges, alongside its kin—the Sundance Range, Sulfur Mountain and the Goat Range.

He just went to the Stoney-Nakoda of the territory around what is currently called Mount Rundle in 1844 and 1847.Mt. Rundle could really be viewed as a little mountain go as the mountain stretches out for more than 12 kilometers 7.5 mi, on the south side of the Trans-Canada Highway eastbound from Banff to Canmore with seven unmistakable crests along the way.
