About The Big Lobster
The Big Lobster is a vacation destination situated in the town of Kingston SE, South Australia. Referred to locally as Larry the Lobster,the figure of a barbed lobster stands 17 meters tall, and is viewed as a standout amongst the most noteworthy of Australia's Big Things.Designed and worked by Paul Kelly for Ian Backler and Rob Moyse, it is made of steel and fiberglass and was expected to pull in regard for the eatery and guest focus at which it is arranged.
The Big Lobster was opened on 15 December 1979 following a half year of construction.The Big Lobster was initially brought about by Ian Backler. A nearby lobster angler, he defined an arrangement to assemble a guest focus in Kingston SE while going in the United States. After coming back to Australia he shaped an association with Rob Moyse, and they connected with Ian Hannaford to build up the complex on an empty piece of land.
