About Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise

Cavill Avenue is a road and a person on foot shopping center in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is in the core of the Surfers Paradise shopping and diversion locale. It was named to pay tribute to the man credited as the originator of Surfers Paradise, James Cavill, known as Jim Cavill.In 1887, German settler Johann Meyer worked a ship over the Nerang River.
