Saint Gregory The Illuminator Cathedral

The Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral otherwise called the Cathedral of Yerevan is as of now the biggest house of prayer of the Armenian Apostolic Church on the planet, successfully making it the current biggest Armenian basilica. It is situated in the Kentron District Central District of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and thought to be one of the biggest religious structures in the South Caucasus alongside the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi known as the Sameba Cathedral. The basilica was built by the activity of Catholicos Vazgen I. Its development began on April seventh, 1997 with a ground favoring administration led by Catholicos Karekin I. The congregation complex was planned by the designer Stepan Kurkchyan and the development was finished in 2001.
