About Blue Mosque of Yerevan
There has been a mosque on this site since 1765, yet like the other eight or so mosques that worked in Yerevan toward the start of the twentieth century it was shut amid the Soviet period. Remade in the late 1990s with Iranian assets, it is presently the main working mosque in the city.
Beautified with outside tiles, it has a humble inside, agile tiled vault, little minaret, and shady garden with wellsprings and flowerbeds. Visitors should dress fittingly – no uncovered legs or shoulders, and ladies should wear a headscarf when entering the petitioned corridor. You can visit, explore and experience this place.
