About Yerevan Cascade

The Cascade is a goliath stairway made of limestone in Yerevan, Armenia. It connects the downtown Ketron territory of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Planned by engineers Jim Torosyan, Aslan Mkhitaryan, and Sargis Gurzadyan the development of the course began in 1971 and was mostly finished in 1980. Inside the Cascade, underneath the outside advances, are seven elevators that ascent along the length of the complex. There are likewise display lobbies associated with a portion of the arrivals along the lifts which make the Cafesjian Museum out of Art.

The outside of The Cascade includes ious levels enhanced with wellsprings and pioneer figures from the Cafesjian accumulation. The stairs manage the cost of walker’s unhindered perspectives of focal Yerevan and Mount Ararat. At the base of the Cascade is a garden yard with statues by contemporary figures, for example, Botero. There are ious bistros and eateries on the two sides of the Cascade frequented by local people and sightseers. Traditional and jazz shows frequently occur at the Cascade amid spring, summer and early pre-winter, with onlookers sitting on the means.
