A non- profit organization by the name of Melbourne Food and Wine organizes this mega food festival for a forth-night across and in Victoria. The first edition of this event was held in the year 1993.

A signature event of the land of Victoria, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival celebrates the food items and wine varieties thereby promoting Victoria as the food and wine hub of the country. Further, it showcases some quality food stuff, national talents and latest life style.

The event started with a humble manner with some 12 odd events in 1993. But, soon enough it attained a iconic touch and now it is celebrated with over 250 events each year. With addition of events like Langham Melbourne Master Class Cellar Door and World’s Longest Lunch, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has carved a place for itself in th world food festival league.

This event is a mark of the holistic representation of the food, wine and hospitality industry of Australia. As a result, it is quoted with lot of reference and respect.
