World War II Glider and Military Museum

The lightweight plane highlighted in this gallery is one of just seven completely reestablished CG-4A World War II lightweight planes on the planet. Energizing World War II film of lightweight planes in real life and individual stories of lightweight plane riders and pilots help tell the story.

The "Heiserman," a little flying machine built by a nearby pilot, and a ¾-sized Piper Cub reproduction of the model utilized widely amid World War II round out the flying machine display. The military historical center additionally contains a broad accumulation of military regalia from the Civil War through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
