Town Square

This is quite charming and most county seats have a town square with monumental courthouse in the center.

Paris is a county seat but the courthouse modestly tucked a block away down a side street.

The Town Square is very open and attractive.

The centerpiece is a pretty fountain with a marble cherub and lions and multiple levels.

The square is surrounded by old shops that were built after the 1916 fire.

The architecture is ied but in many cases ornate and interesting to look at.

Many antique shops in the area , as well as an excellent French restaurant Perry's Off The Square a block away.
