Town Spring Park

Town Spring Park re-establishes one of the first springs that helped Clinton turn into a coveted resting place for fatigued explorers in the 1800's and given water to early occupants of the city. Two streets kept running close to the area of this spring, the Natchez Trace and the Jackson/Vicksburg Road making the area an essential water spot for voyagers. The wealth of crisp water made Clinton a prevalent resting place for voyagers on the Natchez Trace.
