Spencer Museum of Art

The Spencer Museum of Art is a art museum located in Lawrence. The exhibition hall houses gathering that presently numbers almost 36,000 craftsmanships and relics in all media.the Museum had outgrown its quarters in Spooner Hall. Helen Foresman Spencer, another Kansas City gatherer and supporter of expressions of the human experience, made an endowment of $4.6 million that financed development of another exhibition hall.

The Spencer Museum of Art manages a different accumulation of workmanship and works of social hugeness. It supports interdisciplinary investigation at the crossing points of craftsmanship, thoughts and experience. According to the Spencer Museum of Art's website page, the historical center endeavors to reinforce, support, and add to the scholarly research and instructing of the University of Kansas, and it is focused on serving groups of students crosswise over Kansas and past.
