Portsmouth Athenaeum
About Portsmouth Athenaeum
The Portsmouth Athenaeum is a privately run and autonomously oversaw, non-benefit library, display, and exhibition hall situated in the downtown center of the city. The Portsmouth Athenaeum goes back to the mid 1800s when the natives of Portsmouth commonly joined their instructive assets with a specific end goal to lift different individuals from the group.
This arrangement of asset dispersion, once the standard, now speaks to a little part of national libraries, and accordingly, it is a novel portrayal of the soonest arrangement of libraries. Today, visitors can visit the library, historical center, and exhibition to see valid Portsmouth antiques and use the office's different assets.
