About East Rock Park
Situated on Cold Spring Street in Hamden, East Rock Park is a city stop worked by the city of New Haven. Comprising of 427 sections of land, the recreation center is recorded on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The recreation center is named for East Rock, a mountain edge situated inside the limits of the recreation center.
From higher heights in the recreation center, guests can exploit phenomenal perspectives of New Haven, Long Island, and Long Island Sound. Created as a characteristic scene, the recreation center is a prevalent place for bicycling, feathered creature watching, puppy strolling, climbing, and picnicking in the warm summer months and crosscountry skiing and snowshoeing amid the winter.
