Del Webb Sun Cities Museum

This historical center was planned with the style of the 1960s and houses shows including Del Webb and the organization he assembled, Marinette and the cotton estate that went before Sun City, the techniques the Webb Corp used to acquaint Sun City with America, baseball and spring preparing in the region, golf, nearby performing expressions, the advancement of Lizard Acres into the present Sun City West and the "Sundome Jr. Theater" – the littlest performance center in Arizona.

Opening on Jan. 1, 1960 and worked by American land engineer Del Webb, the Del Webb Development Company DEVCO opened Sun City's grown-up group with five model homes, a mall, entertainment focus and golf course.Deemed "America's most acclaimed resort and retirement group," more than 200 homes were sold amid the primary end of the week in Sun City. By the primary year, 2,000 homes were acquired, however, DEVCO had wanted to offer 1,700 homes inside the initial three years of Sun City's opening.
