About D&SNG Museum
The town of Durango was established in 1879 by the Denver and Rio Grande Railway, so it does not shock anyone that one of the attractions guests ought to go to when in Durango is the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum. This railroad museum and historical center works out of the first terminal in 1882, from where guests can go on an amazing beautiful ride through Colorado's San Juan Mountains on a vintage steam train.
