About Animas River
In spite of the fact that it hasn't been demonstrated, it was once felt that the Animal River was initially named Rio de las Animas Perdidas. In 1765, Spanish pilgrim Juan Maria de Rivera had recorded the name as Rio de las Animas, or River of Souls as it means in English.
The stream which courses through Durango, Colorado is a standout amongst the most-went to destinations as it is loaded with exercises, for example, kayaking, whitewater boating, or tubing, and places for guests to investigate, for example, the Animal Trail and the railroad. Animas River is 126 miles in length and is an arm of the San Juan River.
