Colorado State Capitol

Colorado State Capitol is well known among locals and visitors. Every year it attracts many visitors, this is such an excellent building and worth a concise stop while you're here in Denver. Built in the 1890s from Colorado white rock, the building authoritatively opened in 1894. You will be astounded at the care that went into its designs as well, the structure's gold vault comprising of genuine gold leaf, honoring the Colorado Gold Rush.

The building is recorded on the National Register of Historic Place, winding up some portion of the Denver Civic Center National Historic Landmark District in 2012. Take a visit and climb the tight staircase up into the vault itself; you will be stunned at the fantastic perspectives you'll see.
