About Chinese Theatre

Chinese Theater is a motion picture royal residence on the memorable Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Bouled in Hollywood, California, United States. Initially known as Grauman's Chinese Theater, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theater in 1973; the name endured until the point when 2001, after which it returned to its unique name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese gadgets maker TCL Corporation bought the office's naming rights, under which it is authoritatively known as TCL Chinese Theater.

The first Chinese Theater was charged after the achievement of the adjacent Grauman's Egyptian Theater, which opened in 1922. Worked by an organization headed by Sid Grauman more than year and a half beginning in January 1926, the performance center opened May 18, 1927, with the debut of Cecil B. DeMille's film The King of Kings. It has since been home to numerous debuts, including the 1977 dispatch of George Lucas' Star Wars, and additionally birthday parties, corporate junkets, and three Academy Awards services.
