About Center for Environmental Studies
Elizabeth Paepcke established the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies ACES in 1968 with the objective of giving an extension between the Aspen's urbanized condition and encompassing nature, and additionally making an untamed life haven in Aspen. The Center works in four areas: Hallam Lake, The Catto Center, Rock Bottom Ranch, and Spring Creek. Today, the Center is a non-benefit ecological science association.
Experts Naturalist guides offer free climbs each day to investigate spots like Snowmass Mountains, Snowmass Ice Age burrow, and Maroon Bells. The Center offers ious courses and projects in essential biology and natural sciences for grown-ups and school youngsters.
