About The Derby Ram Statue
A perspective of the Derby Slam statue which remains at the intersection of East Road and Trade Road in Derby downtown area. Etched by Michael Pegler, it was skilled to the city by designers in 1995.
It was revealed by the then Leader of Derby, Councilor John McGiven. \
The Derby Slam or As I was Going to Derby is a conventional story English society melody that recounts the tale of a smash of huge extents and the troubles engaged with butchering, tanning, and generally preparing its cadaver.
