About St Peters Church
St Dwindle's Congregation is the ward church of Monkwearmouth in Sunderland, Tyne, and Wear, Britain.
It is one of three places of worship that make up the Area of Monk Wearmouth, the others being All Holy people Church and St Andrew's Congregation, Roker.
The west divider and patio survive based on guidelines from Benedict Biscop in 674-750 of the primary church.
The pinnacle was included before 1000 best of the patio, and whatever remains of the congregation in the fourteenth century. Alongside the religious community in Jarrow, St Dwindle's is the Assembled Kingdom's assignment for a World Legacy Site in 2010.
