About Museum of Antiquities

The Historical center of Relics was an archeological exhibition hall at the College of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Britain.

It opened in 1960 and in 2009 its accumulations were converged into the Incomparable North Exhibition hall, Hancock.

It was the fundamental archaic exploration exhibition hall in northeast Britain.

It secured the historical backdrop of the locale, particularly Hadrian's Divider and the Roman time frame all in all.

It incorporated a full-scale remaking of the third-century sanctuary committed to the Roman god Mithras at Carrawburgh.

Generally, the period from early ancient times to the seventeenth century was secured.

The College's memorabilia shop was likewise situated inside.

The exhibition hall was a finalist for the Gulbenkian Prize for the Historical center of the Year in 2004.

The gallery was additionally bolstered by the Legacy Lottery Reserve.
