About Duthie Park

Duthie Park, arranged in Aberdeen, Scotland, by the banks of the River Dee, involves 44 sections of land 180,000 m2 of land given to the chamber in 1881 by Lady Elizabeth Duthie of Ruthrieston. She bought the land for £30,000 from the bequest of Arthur situate.

The recreation center is noted for the fabulous David Welch winter gardens with tropical and parched houses which contain the second biggest accumulations of bromeliads and of monster prickly plants separately in Great Britain. Initially opened in 1899, the nurseries must be devastated and modified in the wake of torment storm harm in 1969. Today they are a peaceful place, containing such plants as tree greeneries, Spanish greenery, anthuria, and banana trees.

Inside the patio nurseries are railings rescued from the south side of the significant scaffold amidst the city's Union Street. These element surprising metal felines, got from the city emblem, and were spared when the side of the scaffold was produced for retail units in the mid-twentieth century.
