About Broxbourne Woods

Broxbourne Woods well known among local people and guests, they are National Nature Reserve west of Broxbourne in Hertfordshire. The site is Hertfordshire's simply National Nature Reserve and is moreover a Special Area of Conservation. It covers Hoddesdon Park Wood, Wormley Wood, Broxbourne Wood and Bancroft Wood.As one of its kind, the Broxbourne Woods is access to Hoddesdon Park Wood from Lord Street, to Broxbourne Wood from Pembridge Lane, and to Wormley and Bancroft Woods from White Stubbs Lane.

The site is a generous zone of sessile oak and hornbeam backwoods with ious regular life Flowers consolidate bluebells, and yellow animals the unprecedented purple head butterfly. Bancroft and Broxbourne are asserted by Hertfordshire County Council, and Hoddesdon Park and Wormley Woods by the Woodland Trust.
