About Brackley
Brackley is a town in Northamptonshire, England, 22 miles from Oxford and 20 miles from Northampton. Generally a market town dependent on the fleece and trim exchange, it was based on the crossing exchange courses between London, Birmingham and the Midlands and Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley is near Silverstone and home to the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team. Brackley, initially otherwise called Brachelai or Brackele, was held in 1086 by Earl Alberic. After this it go to the Earl of Leicester, and to the groups of De Quincy and Roland. It was recorded in the Doomsday book.
