About Blue Bell Hill

It neglects the River Medway and is a piece of the North Downs. Blue Bell Hill is a chalk slope amongst Maidstone and Rochester in the English area of Kent. Settlements on the slope incorporate Walderslade; and Blue Bell Hill and Kit's Coty towns. Amid the eighteenth and nineteenth hundreds of years a significant part of the slope was quarried for chalk. It is a 5-hectare 12-section of land nature save which is overseen by Kent Wildlife Trust.

A excursion zone fills in as a rest point for walkers on the North Downs Way which keeps running along the highest point of the slope while the ancient trackway of the Pilgrims' Way skirts its foot. A cutting edge crematorium likewise surmounts the slope. It is likewise part of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Wouldham to Detling Escarpment Sites of Special Scientific Interest and Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I.
