Kerala Tourism Department is organizing a regional culinary competition for local chefs as well as cooking-lovers starting from 1st September. The entry-level qualification round will be held on the first week of the September and selected contestants here will compete for the final prize at Bolgatty Palace and Resorts, Kochi, which will be organized from 23rd  to 26th September.

The competition will also feature chefs from 31 Spice Route nations and special cuisines from their home countries. Mr. A C Moideen - Secretariat, Minister for Kerala Tourism said, “The culinary festival will provide space to exchange ideas as well as to promote better understanding between different cultures and traditions.” The participants from Kerala will showcase fabled cuisines from the state. This initiative will also play a crucial role to promote Kerala’s prime tourism hubs and trades.
