Puerta de Bisagra

Puerta de Bisagra is a wonderful development that fills in as a city door and gives access to the city of Toledo. It was at first worked by the Arabs when they occupied the city before the primary thousand years. Puerta de Bisagra is otherwise called "Bisarga Gate" or "Puerta Nueva de Bisarga" which is the fundamental access to the city. It is primarily of Moorish source, yet since it was worked in the sixteenth century, it actually looks like the Renaissance style design.

The door was reconstructed amid the rules of Carlos V and Felipe II in light of plans by the most remarkable Spanish modeler and stone carver of the Renaissance, Alonso de Corubias.
