Es Baluard

Es Baluard is the exhibition hall of present day and contemporary specialty of Palma, Majorca, Spain. Es Baluard Museu d'Art Modern I Contemporani de Palma's accumulation incorporates works by the real specialists and developments that have met and are joining in the Balearic Islands since the origin of the twentieth century until today and relates them to works from other masterful settings in Spain and abroad.

The Es Baluard Museu d'Art Modern I Contemporani de Palma gathering contains works gained by the exhibition hall every year with the evaluation of the Acquisitions Commission, works from the establishments that make up the Board, Consell de Mallorca, Ajuntament de Palma and Fundacio d'Art Serra, brief advances from different foundations, organizations, specialists and private accumulations and gifts that hold fast to the gathering's criteria in all cases.

The historical center covers an aggregate surface of 5,027 square meters, with 2,500 sq.m of presentation space. The historical center highlights one of the biggest storages from the seventeenth century, known as 'The Aljub'. This crisp water store was utilized to supply the Sant Pere quarter, as well as boats that used to dock in the harbor. It is currently utilized as a setting for establishments of contemporary specialists, and for shows and shows.

The show space stretches out on to huge porches and outside spaces, from where you can appreciate awesome perspectives of the Bay of Palma. There is a book and blessing shop, and a very respected eatery on one of the porches. There are no remote dialect messages in the historical center or sound aides, as the accumulations are revived at regular intervals or somewhere in the vicinity, and it isn't viable to give them.
