About Basilica de Santa Eulalia

The Basilica of Santa Eulalia was worked in the thirteenth century amid the Christian Reconquest of Spain. This loved notable landmark remains on the site of a fourth-century Visigothic basilica where a Roman sanctuary beforehand stood. the Islamic rulers who had vanquished Andalusia and different regions of the Iberian Peninsula amid the Moorish time frame.

Epitomizing Romanesque design, the Basilica has three naves and a half circle apse. Around the apse are sanctuaries including Visigothic and Gothic structural subtle elements. Underneath the basilica are the remaining parts of antiquated Roman houses and an early Christian necropolis.
