Vatra Dornei

Vatra Dornei is a town in Suceava County, north-japanese Romania. It is situated in the historic place of Bukovina. Vatra Dornei is the 5th largest city settlement inside the county, with a populace of 13,659 population, in line with the 2011 census. It became d a municipality in 2000, being the most recent and smallest municipality in the county. The metropolis administers three villages: Argestru, Roșu and Todireni. Vatra Dornei is a widely known spa and ski motel inside the Carpathian Mountains and is also home to the historic Vatra Dornei Casino.

Vatra Dornei is placed in north-east Romania, within the south-western a part of Suceava County, one hundred ten km far from Suceava, the capital of the county. The city of Câmpulung Moldovenesc is 40 km away, the city of Bistrița 85 km away, the town of Gura Humorului seventy four km away and the town of Broșteni fifty two km away. Vatra Dornei is at the confluence of Bistrița River and Dorna River, in Dorna Depression. Because of its mountain environment, the metropolis is a spa and ski motel, one of the oldest hotels in Romania.
