Westerplatte

Westerplatte is a landmass in Gdansk, Poland, situated on the Baltic Sea drift mouth of the Dead Vistula, in the Gdansk harbor channel. From 1926 to 1939, it was the area of a Polish Military Transit Depot, endorsed inside the domain of the Free City of Danzig.
