Red Door Gallery Lagos opened in 2013 with the essential plan to give a worldwide stage to developing contemporary craftsmen of African starting point. Their craftsmen challenge the cliché and unsurprising meanings of what "African Art" should look like or how the craftsmanship should influence the watcher to feel. Undoubtedly, in the new world that Red Door display is making, the expression "African Art" does not exist. What they are advancing is contemporary craftsmanship that has been affected by Africa.

At Red Door, the center conviction is that craftsmanship must have a message that breaks all limits, fabricates spans, develops understanding and makes a more grounded human race who have discovered a typical dialect for communicating love, dissatisfaction, outrage, delight, uneasiness and different feelings with no unintended outcomes. The display has included at global craftsmanship fairs and has held more than 30 shows in Lagos, London, Geneva and Johannesburg.
