About Steampunk HQ

Steampunk HQ is an artwork collaboration and gallery within the historical Victorian precinct of Oamaru, New Zealand. Opened in November 2011, it celebrates its personal industrial tackle steam punk via an array of devices and sculptures, complemented via audio-visible installations in two darkened rooms and part of the constructing’s basement. A backyard also includes a collection of different commercial components and projects in various tiers of completion. Steam punk HQ is placed within the former Meeks Grain Elevator Building, a historic constructing registered with by means of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category II shape.
