About Queen Charlotte Track

The Queen Charlotte Track is a 70 km long New Zealand taking walks music between Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound within the Marlborough Sounds. It extends from Ship Cove within the north to Anakiwa within the south. For most parts, the tune leads through native bush along the ridgeline of hills between the sounds, providing appropriate perspectives both aspect. From early 2013 on, the Queen Charlotte Track also has become one of the New Zealand Cycle Trails, on hand for mountain bike-level riders. The track is maintained with the aid of the New Zealand Department of Conservation and is nicely formed and clean to comply with.

It is one of the maximum famous tramping tracks in New Zealand, and is also open to mountain biking all yr spherical except for the section from Ship Cove to Kenepuru Saddle, that is closed for mountain cycling from December to February. The taking walks tune leads over especially clay soil, with bridges over all predominant streams, and reaches from sea degree to 470m high. It isn't always a difficult tune, but, it's far a long music, with the segment among Camp Bay and Torea Saddle over 23 km lengthy.
